Update your PSP to 2.50 firmware using this eboot.pbp http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=195 then use this downgrader: http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=605

i didnt use this installer, but i did get 3.40 OE installed. i didnt get the idea of this, so i did it the old, and apparently more complicated way. easy to me

Hey guys, quick question here from a noob.

Might one be able to downgrade from FW version 3.50 with just the lumines save file? It says in the readme that it uses an exploited save file from lumines. The reason I ask this is because the only place I can get Lumines from is eBay, and every time I try there, I'm always getting outbid, so I need a more concrete method of getting the data.

You use Lumines to downgrade yes, because of this Lumines is hard to find...

has anyone noticed that the ones ho released lumines r a bunch of lucky bastards? i mean.. tou release a lame game.. (seriously it sucks :D) .. some guys find out theres a hack in it.. and its selling crazy.. u get rich for releasing crap.. its weird   do u think they did this on perpice? did they know about the hack?.. no one cares.. sorry off topik

Lol, yeh. Luminies is a sh*t game, people only use it so that they can downgrade their psp. If the luminies exploit never existed in the 1st place, they wouldn't be any mention of it here in psphomebrew.

Just a suggestion.. when i needed gta lcs i rented it from blockbuster.. so check around you might be able to rent lumines somewhere and save $

Not I. I've checked many a time, but they don't carry Lumines at my blockbusters. They don't even have Lumines 2. Pity.

Though actually, Gamefly may carry Lumines, but there is no guarantee that it is the unpatched version... and I doubt they'd send you a different one if you asked for the one that lets you downgrade your psp.

When I want unpatched what I say is I need an older version cuz my savegame file is for the older version, which is true, my save file with a HEN!

Good thing Pandora came out, the price of the game can drop for those who need it and the people who have it and used it no longer require it so they can give to those who need!

Since da ppl who had it have homebrew PSPs already...

Samething for LCS if ppl had Lumines they didnt need it, I still have mine, I used it on that 079, I upgraded to 3.03 and used it. I could have used HENC downgraders, but I didnt know of any* or I could have used the orignal 2.60 downgrader but that needed GTA LCS anyways! And I didnt know where to get that one anyways*.


* But actually now that I think about it I could have just used Nimo's sticky!! I even had some trouble finding the 3.03 DG!

Just gimme a bit... don't got no moneys right now, so it'll be a while before I am able to purchase your Lumines. Maybe after halloween, but that's just speculation.

And the pandora's battery wouldn't work for me anyway, cuz I don't have a homebrew psp to make the pandora's battery with. Unless people are selling their PBats, I don't have any choice but to use Lumines.

ppl R selling homebrew PSPs, Bats, and Lumines online i hopes of making quick cash. Some might do it to help ppl like you, I would buys bats then jig them and sell them for the cost of the battery and a small service fee..

If you can find for cheap online...

My cusin has gone and bought a slimline PSP and it has 3.60 firmware so he says (I never knew it existed). Is there anyway to downgrade this back to 1.5? I'm guessing not but if andbody could clear it up for me that would be great.

no downgrade slim PSP. M33 can be installed directly via Pandora battery.

You have a M33 or 1.5 PSP to help him out?
