ok well i found a way to downgrade to 1.5. i read that guide and i'm still confused.....now what do i do? all i want to do is play PSX and SNES games..
i'm trying to understand the slang here (lol) and what you're trying to say.. but i assume i should download 3.40 OE instead of regular 3.40 because 3.40 doesn't run homebrew? lol i dont even know what homebrew is... is that the hardware that'll allow me to play the older games from SNES?
what do i need to play PSX games? sigh so confused

3.40 OE is that you want.
Homebrew are games/apps NOT made by Sony, emulators are homebrew. 1.5 runs homebrew, 2.71 can run other types of it. OE runs both types of homebrew. I dont think Sony made and emulators for NES or SNES, so u have a homebrew emulators which 2.00 wont run!
If any of ur UMDs have updates for 2.71 u can use those.
If not use this file! Check u have PSP0001, since this is for American PSPs and not JAP ONES!
I believe you take the file eboot.pbp from there and extract it, goto PSP\Game and make a folder called "UPDATE" in psp\game\UPDATE put eboot.pbp and run it to get 2.71!

i hope there is one to but do yourself a favor STOP upgrading cause i upgraded and then like 2 days later the downgrader came out and i was kicking myself.... so i went to a pawn shop and bought another one and downgraded that so i got 2 now LOL

come to think of it... how long do u guys usually wait for a new downgrader to come out? =\
the waiting sucks... feel damm helpless nt being to help out in anyway >_< n being forced to use umds dont help much lol

3.50 is out but 3.11 downgrader is still not available in the trusted websites. I think the noobs (no offence) are getting really angry and are throwing their psp's away.

GAHHH just got my psp went home and checked the firmware.. its 3.11 -.- (yes i know stupid of me not to check the stupid sticker...) soo... how long has it been since the last downgrader?
