That Eazy Installer was kinda made by me, it had data.dxar already made so u didnt have to make it, its good to see you back, lots of people have left to PSPGuides, but I am active on both forums!

Thanks dude, i been out when ever i was not working. hardly have time to chill..
I have used the Easy Installer from this link bellow, it was really pretty much what it said on the name, just copied the 2 folder to the game path then run the prog and it did the trick :) http://www.pspmod.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17548

So for the 3.03 update, you absolutely have to have this special version of GTA LCS? There's no way to find the update of the patch or whatever somewhere else?

The patch is bad, read the Sticky "Hacking PSP for n00bs" in Firmware section, if its patched LCS wont work for the 3.03 downgrader!

OK...I f**king hate PSP. With a passion.
So, I had though I'd found an unpatched version. It had the code and the back cover pictures as seen on some site someone linked to here...
Anyway, the f**king piece of sh*t was 2.60. So I was pissed...but then I saw that 2.60 could be downgraded. So I thought to myself "whew". Well, "whew" my ASS. f**king homosexual piece of dogsh*t motherf**king PSP wouldn't downgrade. So it's f**king worthless. It's a piece of sh*t. Not even work the plastic case that protects it. PSP games take like 7 years to load and in between levels, like 3 years a piece.
I really seriously hate Playstation right now. With a bloody passion.

u can downgrade 2.6 if ur psp has 2.6, however a 2.6 update on an lcs umd wont work for eloader or da 3.o3 downgrader!
anything above 2.oo means its patced, despite the fact that 2.xy itself can be downgraded!

I can't even get it to 2.60 because it says my PSP is already "updated".
I feel as though PSP needs a translator. "Updated" means " we've sucked all pleasure out of our machine".
200 bucks for this sh*t. What a disappointment. So the search continues, I suppose. Unless this thing has an unfortunate accident tonight. I'm so hot right now, it could happen.
Seriously. This thing is WORTHLESS without homebrew. WORTHLESS. I would trade it for a pack of cigarettes.

dont upgrade anymore, try to find an unpatched or wait for a better downgrader.
u could sell da lcs u have now or play it [i dont play my good lcs, i preserve it!]

ok i am completely new at this sh*t and it's getting pretty frustrating.. it's usually not that hard for me to figure things out but i swear when it comes to the PSP it's like  it's funny cuz i was one of the first to get the psp and i remember having version 1.5 and my dumbass upgraded cuz of a game
anyway haven't touched it in a while and i have version 2.00 and i don't see a link to downgrade so am i screwed?
can i get something straight? all this downgrade stuff is to make your psp back into version 1.5 right? and once it's 1.5.... i can run the software to run PS1 / SNES games etc correct?
do i need all different types of software to run both PS1 and SNES games? i really want to play both.. from super mario to FFX7 and dont even know where to go from here once i find a downgrader for 2.0
someone help please ^__^

See the thread hacking PSP for noobs in firmware section. I don't think there are downgraders for 2.00, but if u upgrade to 2.71, there are downgraders for that!
Once back at 1.5 get an OE [see Eazy Installer]. 3.40 OE is like 3.40, but don't be afraid! U must be thinking only a noob would get 3.40, but 3.40 OE will run homebrew! Since its 3.40 ur game that needs 2.0 will run! Also if u convert ur 1.5 homebrews to 1.0 homebrews the the corrupt icons wont show since OE runs 1.0 homebrew! Also if a game forced an update OE will try to get around that, unlike SOny's firmware forcing the update!
