I just bought a 1.5 PSP and I want to update the firmware to whatever the cracked version is that supports PS1 ISOs. Where do I find the firmware and what is the risk of bricking my system. I don't have any more money so bricking the system would be a disaster. Also once I update can I keep updating it to the latest cracked firmware copies. Are there any problems with running cracked firmware and homebrew?

hey! go to http://www.dark-alex.org/ allthough it does say the site is fake id say nearly every person on this site would back me up to say it isnt. also im running dark alex's firmware 3.03oec there is not a big chance of you psp bricking but if you do something wrong then it mite so you would have to search for a step by step to installing dark alex's custom firmware make sure you take your time. Also as far as i no there is no problem with running custom firmware or homebrew. cant w8 to see you in the homebrew world

Once I upgrade is their a continued risk of bricking with each upgrade or is it a one time only thing.

i think there is a small chance of bricking but as new custom firmwares come out the more they do to decrease the brick rate !
