i have a phat psp1001 with ofw 5.51 and was trying to downgrade to cfw with a mms and pandora battery. I followed the instuctions. I put the mms in first then battery an didnt touch anythin, but only the power light turned green an the screen was just blank then turned off after like 5 min.

Did you buy your MMS (was it an MMS when you bought it) or make it?
PS If you want you can ask your question on my forum. I will be able to answer faster (as I check it more, I still check here, but I check more there, as it's more active there) and since it's more active there someone there might be able to give you more info

i purchased the mms an its a 2gb
And if that address is to ur forum i cant seem to find it, its says forum not found so if you can wat topic it is an wats ur user name

It can't be modded already, from what i remember you have
to install some files to the stick, run a program using a
PSP with CFW already on it, then convert a spare battery to
a pandoras battery, and then stick it in your other psp to
update it a desired firmware

I think there is a way to do it from a computer, but you need Sony copyrighted files...

just plug the stick in and connect to a computer and check for files but if you bought it from a ligitmate sorce it won't have the MMS files on it as that is illigal
